New Resource for Protein Variant Analysis: AlphaFold Database Integration

Dear pdb-list,

The AlphaFold Protein Structure Database, which provides open access to
protein structure predictions, has integrated data from the
AlphaMissense AI model. AlphaMissense predicts whether specific genetic
variations (missense variants) are more likely to be pathogenic or benign.

This integration allows researchers to:

View protein structures alongside predicted pathogenicity scores
from AlphaMissense.
Examine missense variations within 3D protein structures.
Gain insights into the potential impact of specific residue changes
based on AlphaMissense prediction
